Where is the Event Discovery Section
The Event Discovery Section is a list of all ongoing and upcoming public events hosted on Events.com Virtual.
You can find the Event Discovery Section on your My Events dashboard in Events.com Virtual. Just scroll down and look for "Want to see more events?". You'll be able to see the next 9 events and search for specific events.
Private events will not and cannot be listed in the Event discovery Section.
Once you've found the event you're looking for or one you find interesting - click on it to view the landing page for that event and register!
How to List Events in the Event Discovery Section
Public Remo Events:
By default, all public events are listed within the Event Discovery Section.
If you would like to remove your event from the Event Discovery Section, you can do so by:
1. Go to your event's settings
2. Under Advanced > Event Details, uncheck the box for "Display event in Remo's Event Discovery"
(If you change your mind about having your event be listed in the Event Discovery Section, you can go back to your Event Settings and simply check the box!)

For an event to show on event directory, it has to comply by below points:
- Event Discovery Enabled: The "Display events in Remo's event discovery" option must be turned on.
- Public Event: The event should not be marked as private.
- Active and Upcoming: The event must not be archived, and its start time must be more than 30 minutes from the current time.
- External Events: The event should not belong to your own company.
- Limited Listings: The discovery section displays the next nine events that meet these criteria and are not yours.
Change Default Event Discovery Settings
If you do not want your events listed in Event Discovery by default, you can change this setting in your account settings:
1. Go to your Organization Settings
Only Account Owners will have access to this page.
2. Under Company Profile > scroll down to "Event Discovery"
3. Toggle ON the "Disable by default" setting
This will set the default for the Event Discovery checkbox to off.
