Asking Questions
Guests can ask Questions using the 'Q&A' tab
Guests can also opt to ask anonymously if they wish to by checking the following box when they ask their question:
Other guests can upvote the questions that they want to be answered, and these will move up higher on the list. This saves a lot of time for speakers or event hosts because they automatically see the most important questions that guests want answered right there at the top.
Moderating Questions
Organizers can now choose whether to enable Q&A moderation or not. When enabled, submitted questions are first sent to the organizer to review before they’re visible to everyone at the event.
1. To enable Q&A moderation, head to Event Settings > Feature Toggles, and turn the toggle for “Require Moderation for Q&A” to ON
By default, Q&A moderation is turned off for events.
2. In the event, when a new question is submitted, organizers will see it listed in the Q&A tab under the “To Approve” tab.
3. After reviewing, organizers can click the tick icon to approve or the cross icon to reject the question.
4. Approved questions immediately get moved over the “Live” tab and are immediately visible to everyone at the event.
Rejected questions are immediately hidden from view.
5. In the post-event analytics, organizers can download a list of all submitted questions, including those that got rejected or are still under review.
Please note, regardless of whether Q&A moderation is enabled or not, the guest view will look the same. In either case, guests will just have one Q&A tab that shows all currently Live questions.
