What is the Google Slides Integration?
The Google Slides integration lets you load and present a Google Slides presentation directly inside Presentation Mode without having to screen share your Google Slides tab or window.
This means you can continue viewing and interacting with your event while you present. No more having to switch back and forth between your presentation tab and event tab to keep an eye on Chat and Q&A.
If you’d prefer to share your presentation using screen sharing instead, check out our article on sharing presentations in Events.com Virtual.

B) Jump directly to a specific slide
C) Open speaker notes
Only speakers and event hosts will be able to control the slides.

2. Select “User Settings”
3. Click "Disconnect"
Important Things to Note
There are a couple of things to keep in mind when using the Google Slides integration:
- Animations and videos are not supported. When using the integration, Google Slides are displayed as static slides in Events.com Virtual, so animations and videos within your presentation will not play.
- Google Slides are not captured in Events.com Virtual recordings. If you’re recording your presentation using the Events.com Virtual built-in recording feature, the Google Slides displayed through the integration will not appear in the recording. If you need your slides included in the final recording, you can either add them during post-production or use a third-party recording tool that captures them.
If animations, embedded videos, or capturing your slides in the built-in event recording are important for your presentation, consider using screen sharing instead. Learn how to screen share your presentation on Events.com Virtual.
