Solution 1: Give the Browser Immediate Access to Camera and Microphone
To give Chrome permission to use your microphone and/or camera, please follow the below instructions:
1. A popup should appear in the upper left corner of your screen asking for permission to use your camera and microphone. Click 'Allow this time' or 'Allow while visiting the site'
2. If the above popup does not appear, click the button on the left-hand side of the URL (this may be a settings icon, or a blocked mic/cam icon). Toggle the 'Camera' and 'Microphone' options to ON
Solution 2: Check the Browser Settings for Camera and Microphone Permissions
You can also change your browser’s camera and microphone permissions by adjusting your browser settings:
1. When in the Remo Event Space, click on the ‘More’ button (3 vertical dots) in the upper right corner next to the URL and then click ‘Settings’
2. Select the ‘Privacy and Security' tab and then click ‘Site settings'
3. Scroll down to the Permissions section, and then click on ‘Camera’ or ‘Microphone’
4. Select the option for ‘Sites can ask to use your camera’
5. Check to see whether live.remo.co or virtual.events.com is listed as one of the sites blocked. If it is then click on the site’s name and change the ‘Camera’ and ‘Microphone’ permission to ‘Allow’
